[Salarians are far from uncommon on Omega. This one, however, is a new face around these parts. The only clue to his current location thus far is the dingy looking wall behind him. Could be anywhere, the walls all look like shit.

Considering the slight hint of irritation in his voice, it's very likely that this salarian is so far not enjoying his stay here.]

Judging by what I've heard, it would seem that I'm not the only one who has no idea why they've arrived on this station. I also seem to have lost track of a small group of salarians. The locals so far have been less than helpful. If anyone has more information regarding either situation, I'd certainly like to hear it.

[he pauses for a moment and takes a quick glance around. Satisfied with whatever he finds (that being nothing), he turns his attention back to his omni-tool]

My name is Kirrahe. Regretfully, for the time being the only thing I have to offer in exchange for information is my gratitude.

[after a quick nod, he cuts the feed.]

[Oh. Of course. Kirrahe had heard something about Professor Solus wanting to open up a clinic on Omega. Why anybody would want to live on this festering space shithole was beyond him, but if anyone could survive it, much less run a successful clinic on it, it was that guy. He was one tough cloaca, after all.

Still. It was Mordin. He was probably the last person Kirrahe wanted to bother with, but right now it was his best lead. This was either a stroke of exceptional luck, or a migraine waiting to happen.]

We're acquainted.

I'm afraid this is my first visit to Omega. I would appreciate it if you could tell me where I could find him.

[She saw the 'transmission' on the strange artifact she'd been given, that 'Omni-tool' thing that certainly didn't seem useful as a tool for anything she was familiar with, but she also remembered catching a glimpse of that particular... 'person' on the ship during docking and deboarding of the space boat onto the space island they were all now stranded on. Having not yet left the docking bay, she did not know that all walls in the station more or less looked the same. Thus it was with confidence that she felt she knew he was broadcasting from the deboarding area.

It took her some time to find him, though. The mass of other... 'people' that were not people in her experience was difficult to navigate through to fine just one... man? woman? How did one tell with Kirrahe's kind, anyway?

When she did find him, however, she let out a sharp 'aha!' of victory that was echoed by an equally excited bark from her dog.]

[Instinctively, his hand went to the pistol at his side. Unfamiliar place, unfamiliar people, being cautious didn't hurt.

He didn't draw the weapon, however. For all he knew, this human was just as lost as he was and simply required assistance. Whether or not he would be able to provide said assistance was yet to be seen.

He couldn't help but cock the salarian equivalent of an eyebrow at her manner of dress. While he had caught a glimpse of her on the shuttle, he hadn't really realized just how out of place she looked next to the other humans he'd seen around. Maybe it was an Earth thing. Whatever.]

So you have. I'm going to recommend right now that you refrain from storming up on someone like that again in the future. It's a good way to get yourself shot around here.

[He was assuming, anyway. He'd heard many things about Omega before. None of them good.]

[She stilled for a moment and then very carefully took a full step backwards, uncertain how far back she should stand and if that would be enough. She was used to being only a few inches from someone when interacting with them. Ashlynn was far less concerned with getting shot. She could survive a few bullets.]

[Ashlynn straightened her shoulders and clasped her hands behind her back. She, too, had a pistol at her hip - her left hip - though it was much older and extremely ornate in appearance. Across her back a large eagle-headed 'hammer' was hung in a loose holster to leave her hands free.]
