[A week with no answers as to the circumstances of their arrival. Irritating. Luckily, he had some credits on him. He's not as well off as he would be if he could access all of his savings but there had been some money in his pockets. It puts him ahead of most of the new arrivals.

It also gives him a starting point. Mordin has been on Omega before. He's worked and lived here before. He knows the ins and outs of business here. He also still has contacts here--easily convinced that he is, in fact, still alive. No one pulls off Mordin, quite like Mordin.

The room behind him is neat and well-lit. The rooms beyond look like a terrible mess but there are one or two aliens scurrying about behind him that seem to be attempting to sort it out. Anyway, hello Omega, have an alien on your screen.]

Greetings. Professor Mordin Solus. Previously spent time on Omega. Successful salarian scientist and medical professional. Attack on Omega left shortage of facilities. New arrivals place strain on system in place. Wish to help in any way possible.

[He paces--Mordin is one of those people that always have to be in motion.]

[ Look, York's been gutted by dinosaurs, okay. Omega is just as dangerous, and she figures she ought to know about the medical facilities around here. Just in case. There could be dinosaurs here all bets are off. ]

Capable of professional medical advice and care. Bandaging and cleaning of wounds. Minor surgery. Will provide major surgery if necessary but not specialty. Deal primarily in genetics. Earned medical degree on side.

[Dun looks at the screen, disbelieving and sceptical. There's a bruise underneath his cheek and a cut on his forehead that's still bleeding. It looks like he's been in some kind of fight.]

Dun manages to evade the vorcha that's trying to slash him to ribbons, but he's failed to take into consideration the natural toughness of a krogan. As a result, the krogan he thought he'd taken down? It's charging at him all right. There's the sound of am impact, before the Omni-tool is switched off abruptly.]

Recommend applying ice at earliest convenience. Reduce swelling. Laceration on forehead may require application of medi-gel and stitching.

[Mordin watches the screen with a frown. As much as he would like to help, he's not going to interfere in someone's business. He also can't abandon the clinic. If the man needs help, hopefully he'll make his way to the clinic.]

Background began in science. Have proclivity for genetics. Branched out as necessary into medical profession. Have studied number of races extensively. Salarians have natural photographic memories. Aides in reducing time spent studying.

Have wide range of abilities. Specialty towards minor injuries. Able to perform surgeries in emergency.

And she hadn't really gotten news of his whole... death... thing... so it not particularly surprising to see him up and about. Either way, there's a soft snort of a laugh at his typical rapid speech. She won't be admitting it, but she'd missed her crew, ever so slightly. ]

How long do you think you can actually keep that place open without charging? [ Somehow she doesn't think he'll have a problem. It's Mordin, after all, and he tends to make things work regardless. There's a short pause. ]

[They may have barely interacted but there's a healthy respect for Jack from Mordin. Incredibly similar to his respect for Aria. She's strong and capable--that's enough for him.]

Will charge majority. Do not wish patients to suffer because of inability to pay. [Yeah, he'll make it work. He's used to not having a budget at all. He's been in this position before.]
