[A week with no answers as to the circumstances of their arrival. Irritating. Luckily, he had some credits on him. He's not as well off as he would be if he could access all of his savings but there had been some money in his pockets. It puts him ahead of most of the new arrivals.
It also gives him a starting point. Mordin has been on Omega before. He's worked and lived here before. He knows the ins and outs of business here. He also still has contacts here--easily convinced that he is, in fact, still alive. No one pulls off Mordin, quite like Mordin.
The room behind him is neat and well-lit. The rooms beyond look like a terrible mess but there are one or two aliens scurrying about behind him that seem to be attempting to sort it out. Anyway, hello Omega, have an alien on your screen.]
Greetings. Professor Mordin Solus. Previously spent time on Omega. Successful salarian scientist and medical professional. Attack on Omega left shortage of facilities. New arrivals place strain on system in place. Wish to help in any way possible.
[He paces--Mordin is one of those people that always have to be in motion.]
Called in number of favors. Procured equipment necessary. Have reopened clinic in Gozu District. Hope to avert patient overcrowding during potential calamity. Location attached. Number of credits irrevelant. Will not turn patient in need away. Able to work out alternate method of payment.

[He nearly said "things" but considering he's about to receive medical help, he might as well be polite. He's still confused on how to work some functions of the omni-tool, but he knows how to ask/threaten for directions.]
I'll see you shortly then.
[He switches off the feed and after thirty minutes of wrong directions and confusing alleyways, he locates the clinic and steps through the entrance.]
Video --> Action
[It's all good. He's used to abrasive and irritated injured people being a doctor. Plus, it's not unusual for someone to dislike Mordin. Par for the course.]
Will be waiting.
[He pretty much lives in his clinic so he's almost always here. When he arrives at the clinic, he'll be directed to the back room by someone patching a hole in the wall. Mordin will be busy on a computer he's attempting to get back up and running.]
Perma-Action
You, salarian. We spoke over the communication tool awhile ago.
Perma-Action
He straightens and turns from his computer as Dun comes in.]
Mordin Solus. Remember conversation. Device is Omni-tool. Request presence on examination table. [He points in the direction of one.] List injured areas.
Re: Perma-Action
My left arm isn't as it should be and something's wrong here. [He taps his injured side; there's a gash there, but Dun's not worried about the gash.] It's not like any other wound; I feel as if I've been burned but I didn't see any fire, and something just feel strange inside, almost as if a bone's displaced. And I got knocked on the head a few times. I think I'm fine, but you might as well check that out since I'm here.
[A medical check will reveal that Dun's left arm is just sprained from being twisted wrongly. However, he's definitely broken some ribs on his injured side, and he might just have a slight concussion. Some of his injuries are fresh, but they lay atop older ones that haven't been seen to properly.]

His omni-tool flickers to life and he scans the human. In the air over it, a 3D view of a human shows up and there's flashing, blooping signals in a number of places. There are also areas highlighted in red. The writing itself isn't in a language Dun will be able to read but Mordin certainly can.]
Sprain in right arm. Minor injury, suggest bracing. Simple tape will be satisfactory. Minor concussion. Not particularly troublesome. Limitation of strenuous activity prudent. Concern lies in rib cage. Have broken two ribs on injured side. Appears exacerbated by previous injuries. Have medication to accelerate healing but recovery still lengthy. Important to manage pain. Deep breathing suggested to avoid pneumonia.

He opens his mouth to say something, only to reconsider and fall silent, thinking through what he'd just been told. There is no point getting angry or upset at Mordin; it's his short temper that's already landed him in so much fights. Dun knows enough about injuries to treat superficial ones, but internal damage is something outside his range and he knows he'll have to defer to Mordin's diagnosis if he wants to get well soon.
Picking his words carefully, he asks Mordin with gruff politeness.]
Can you help with the treatment?
no subject
Simple treatments highly effective. Suggest rest. Refrain from strenuous activity if possible. Able to provide pain medication. Uncertain of home year. No longer bind broken ribs. More harmful. Does not allow for deep breathing. Must avoid pneumonia at all costs.
[Mordin shifts to dig in a drawer.]
Will provide enough medication to last several days. Short on supplies. Will procure proper allotment. Return to clinic in three days. Should have rest in stock. If acquired sooner than expected will send notification.
