[The face that appears on the feed from the omni-tool is certainly alien, and distinctly female to those who actually know her race. But she certainly doesn’t look impressed in the slightest, of anything she looks mildly bored with the entire scenario.]

So, I’m not sure if everyone has lost their minds since I was last to Omega, but I’ve had about six humans ask me what I was. Now I know that all of you have only been acquainted with turians for thirty years, but if you’re going to be part of the galaxy you should figure out what a turian is, there’s only twenty billion of us in the galaxy.

So if anyone else has stupid questions to ask me, I’ll be in Afterlife having a drink and trying to enjoy the dancers.

[She’ll pause for a moment and think, before addressing the recording again.]

Also, can someone kindly explain why I’m on Omega when I should be on Illium? Never wanted to be on this rubble heap again, and it only looks like it’s become more degraded since my last charming visit.

This information hardly qualifies as helpful, I'm sure, but from what anyone seems to have gathered so far, nobody knows how or why people are showing up here at all. Apparently nobody is able to leave the system, damaged mass relay perhaps. I have yet to verify this as fact, but there you have it.

From what I've managed to find, that's basically the situation. I've encountered no less that seven humans that insist I'm some sort of space frog. I've heard of a few cases of alternate dimensions and temporal displacement as well.

I'd say closer to newts, but that's besides the point you're an amphibian. Trust the humans to have to simplify things. Those theories seem off the wall even for a salarian to say, but it would explain the date on my omni-tool malfunctioning.

Isabela, that's who, although it's taken her awhile for her to get used to the scene here. The flashing lights had hurt her eyes the first few times she had been here, but the dancers are easy on the eyes.

She's already had a bit to drink, her words are only slightly slurred and she makes her way for another round, accidentally bumping against the lady turian hanging around as she makes a motion for a drink to the barkeep.

Her eyes graze over the turian, noting the slightly different features.]

Pax will not even bother glancing at the human beside her. She could smell the fact that she had been drinking, perhaps heavily and wasn't overly in the mood to be dealing with drunken ladies. But she'll try not to make a nasty comment about how she bumped into her.]

No, so far I've had a human hit on me, another tell me that they had only seen one other female turian in a long time and talked to a "Robotic organism".

At least the salarian was friendly, too bad he's as confused as I am on my sudden jump of eight months into the future.

[benji is still wary of this place, and she has a feeling she always will - given the fact that she'd ended up here without knowing how or why, she doesn't trust whatever it is that brought her and her sister here.

that said, she's taking a moment to chill out a little. zoe is back in the apartment they'd found together, not getting herself into trouble. or at the very least, as little as she can possibly help.

she settles near the bar, orders a drink and as she waits for it to arrive, she finds herself glancing at the dancers every now and again until she notices the female turian sitting off to the side.

Funny, the only thing I remember from the aftermath of the First Contact War is my parents being terrified of a new species. You'd think they'd all have heard of you by now.

[Pax will glance over at the new human beside her. Of course she just finds it amusing that even Benji needs to comment on such a thing. Of course it's been a long time since the Relay 314 incident but Pax can't help but tap her talons on the bar in thought.]

There was a lot that happened in the aftermath, of course it'd be better if humans remembered what a turian looked like for the most part. We're not even the most frightening race in the galaxy, nor the most violent. But we're always made out to be that way in human vids I find.

Really? I don't watch a whole lot of vids, so I wouldn't know .. but I guess it wouldn't surprise me. Your species has been catching a bad rap for a long time, now. You'd think they'd find another scapegoat.

It's easier to blame the messengers than the powers behind them as always. Not that the Hierarchy hasn't done some stupid things to cover their own asses. No one would dare blame the asari for anything, nor the salarians, it's always the militia that gets the finger pointed at them.

[Despite the fact that her two best friends were a salarian and an asari, she has issues with how the galaxy is run over all, but she won't push them on anyone.]

The batarians are really only a problem when it comes to humans, I'm surprised now with everything happening that humanity hasn't tried to make peace with them like they did the turians.
