[The face that appears on the feed from the omni-tool is certainly alien, and distinctly female to those who actually know her race. But she certainly doesn’t look impressed in the slightest, of anything she looks mildly bored with the entire scenario.]

So, I’m not sure if everyone has lost their minds since I was last to Omega, but I’ve had about six humans ask me what I was. Now I know that all of you have only been acquainted with turians for thirty years, but if you’re going to be part of the galaxy you should figure out what a turian is, there’s only twenty billion of us in the galaxy.

So if anyone else has stupid questions to ask me, I’ll be in Afterlife having a drink and trying to enjoy the dancers.

Also, can someone kindly explain why I’m on Omega when I should be on Illium? Never wanted to be on this rubble heap again, and it only looks like it’s become more degraded since my last charming visit.

I've already lived on this station once and my last experience wasn't one I plan on repeating. Ever.

Sorry, I'm just under some stress and the Hierarchy and I aren't exactly seeing eye-to-eye currently. I doubt you'd believe me if I said I tend to handle teasing fairly well on a good day.

Oh I can compare but it's not a fun memory. Having The Blood Pack track you down and having two krogan ambush you isn't a fun memory.

Yeah, they have a tendency to be a bit underhanded. Just a bit.

What'd you do to piss 'em off so bad?

That's a story in itself. I had a job to go after one of the higher ranking krogan in The Blood Pack, almost had him but he took down my teammate and the vorcha ambushed my sniper. It went bad quickly so I had to escape into the tunnels. Apparently he remembered my face, even though he died later on from an infection. They weren't too impressed that he died from an infected turian bite. Embarrassing for them, or something.

[Garrus takes in the story with a still face. Not even a mandible twitches while Pax speaks]

That's what they said he died of. I don't believe it, I think he had an allergic reaction or it was my teammates doing.

[Really, she thought whomever was going to buy a krogan dying from a turian bite deserved to be shot.]

He was a salarian, wasn't exactly all there if you ask me, but he had a funny attraction to toxins. That's why I never accepted food or drinks from him, ever. His coworkers seemed to die in odd ways all the time.

Nice to see you made it out of whatever mess you got yourself in.

Bit of both, which is why I need to get back to Illium and off this rock.

[Thinking about the fact that her partners in crime are still on Illium and she has no way to get there is more than a little depressing. Friends aren't something she has many of and she does owe her asari friend quite a bit for coming up with enough money to get her spine repaired.]
