Video;
[The video feed opens up to Isabela and a krogan already in the middle of a drinking competition, each having their own line of shot glasses in front of them. There’s an asari dancer seated between the two of them, either acting as a bemused audience or as a judge.
The voice that comes over the audio side isn’t from the pirate on screen, however, but from a different woman who’s holding the camera. Some may recognize the voice of one Kasumi Goto.]
Shame we’re too late to find sponsors to hit the competitive circuit. There’s a market for this kind of blatant disregard for personal safety out there somewhere, I can taste it.
[Both are nearly done with their line of drinks when Isabela says something drunkenly cocky and reaches forward to grab at the krogan’s last shot. The asari dancer stands up to grab at Isabela’s wrist because Bela that’s ryncol don’t be stupid, but she misses and the pirate accidentally knocks the glass over and it lands in the krogan’s lap.]
I’m predicting a fan site. Maybe a t-shirt line. Stinks I’m done with the corporate gig. Just too much small print on those deals.
[The dancer now flees the scene as the krogan flips the table over with a loud CRASH in drunken competitive agitation. Bela’s reaching for the daggers at her back as the krogan looks about ready to charge her.
This part of Afterlife is bound to get trashed shortly, and possibly Isabela WOOPS...]
And that’s my cue. Catch us next week, kids.
[And with that the video feed cuts as Kasumi enters stealth mode and leaves Bela to her fate. Kasumi replies will be once she’s out of damage range, and Bela’s when she’s done escaping. Also open for action threads in the bar!]

ACTION FOR BELA
She's down for a few seconds before recovering noting through her spinning vision that the krogan is collecting his drunken bearings to make yet another charge in her direction and she scrambles under the table and stands ready to find an opening.]
Ah shit. [She clutches her daggers, running forward and leaping on the table and over the krogan thanks to Dragon Age rogue physics, her landing staggering and not as clean as she'd have liked it to be.
Maker, why hasn't she invested in projectile weaponry?]
ACTION!
The one wielding the warhammer did a quick shuffle to get around the brute and place herself between him and the pirate. It was already apparent that the blow wouldn't do too much to hurt him on it's own, but maybe it would grab his attention and help him sober up a bit. At least enough to be reasoned with?
She really hoped so. There wasn't a lot of space to fight in at the moment. And she hadn't shown up at the bar to get into a fight, either. She didn't want to end up kicked out over it.]

It doesn't do much to deter him, though he does rub his head and look angrily on at his new attacker. Figures, once these creatures get started it's hard to stop them, but Isabela is thankful that there's a newer, shinier target for him to focus on. She'll slip her way into the watching crowd, removing her blue bandanna as though that'll help hide her from view in case the fight does continue with its new challenger.
Sorry hero, we can't all be bleeding hearts.]

With her assumed back up making a quick escape and the rest of the crowd opening up to give her and he krogan room to finish (or possibly make it obvious they should take it outside, she wasn't sure yet), Ashlynn realized she was very much on her own against the large brute. It was rather like facing... well, not a balverine. There were other creatures on the station that seemed to match that description. A troll perhaps? Not that she'd ever faced a troll, her brother's early rule campaign had wiped those creatures out long before she fled the castle. Well, for lack of a better comparison, troll it would be.
And one that was quickly charging with fist at the ready.
Ashlynn ducked and rolled and as she came up, sent a quick charge of electricity from her hand to try and stun him. It wasn't powerful, so it didn't stun him for more than a blink of an eye if it stunned him at all, but the charge lingered as started moving toward the door. Yes, she was very much the only target on his mind at the moment and she had absolutely no idea how long it would take to bring him down.
She very much hoped she could.]
