I honestly don't think she could even think of hurting anything at this point. She's still getting used to our apartment.

Um .. she didn't eat him. I can guarantee that much.

[ and it takes an impressively short amount of time for marco to be at north's door, banging on it until he's let in. ]

[he doesn't even have time to type out a proper response before there's banging on his door, and he slips quietly over to it, pulling it open before marco has a chance to actually dent it.

and there is the pyjak, staring at the varren currently trying to play with it as marco comes in.] Hey, he's right there. Completely okay, save maybe missing a few patches of hair on his tail.

[pause.] .. Sorry about that.

[ marco barely waits for north to finish talking before rushing in to pounce on his pyjak, sweeping up the bewildered animal with a firm grip around its torso. he gives the varren a dirty look as he pulls his armful of squirming spacemonkey away. ]

Ugh, never letting you out of my sight again. God, how can people even stand having kids when just pets are such a pain?

[he feels like he should say something more in apology about the missing patches of hair, but since marco doesn't seem to be all that concerned, he lets it go for the moment.

and that is the wrong question to ask someone that eventually wants a decently-sized family.] You'd better keep that harness on him, then .. and you're asking the wrong person on that. [he chuckles.] I want kids.

[ no really marco just cares that he knows where joey is now. he's knotting the string around the harness as he scowls. ]

Really, dude? Really? Well, at least you get to learn all about the wonder and joy of teaching your killer beast how to be a big girl. Are varren housebreakable?

[ he sets joey down, but as soon as that happens there is suddenly a cuddlepile of varrenpyjak that marco stares at in equal parts bewilderment and disgust. ]

[he can't help but to smirk at the reaction marco gives, because he's pretty sure that's what everyone's reaction would be.

he's always wanted a big family, as surprising as that may end up being.] I think they are .. I know Carolina is trying, at least. And if anyone can do it, she can.

[and .. well. if that isn't a cuddlepile of an unlikely caliber.] .. How much do you want to bet they're going to be best friends, now?

What's she gonna do, reprogram its brain or something? I'm pretty sure these things are too stupid to learn anything. Except how to be annoying.

[ there's really no particular reason marco hates varren so much, but he kind of just needs something to be a target at the moment. he grabs a tail---probably joey's---and pulls, trying to untangle the overly-friendly aliens. ]

Bleh, you're probably right. What do we do now, organize play dates?

Freya's pretty smart, actually. It's just been a hassle to teach her how to sit. And .. stay. And heel.

[north man you're not making a very good case for yourself and you know it.

but then he's laughing at that tail-grab, shaking his head.] How about we swing by whenever one of us takes her for a walk, and they can play for a bit?

[ marco rolls his eyes so hard at the suggestion that he almost falls over, but when he realizes that this might be one way to keep the pyjak somewhat stimulated and out of trouble, he gets a thoughtful look. ]

Okay, I guess. So long as teethface here has all her shots. I haven't found a good vet yet.
