[ Sark’s feed is set to sweep low across the ground as he walks, and just as a pyjak skitters across his path, he stops only to kick it out of the way with the side of his shoe. And while he’s not about to show his face on the network, he’ll willingly speak on it. ]
Has anyone begun to wonder exactly why we’ve accrued our very own infestation of these things? [ He tilts the camera just enough to show it once more, the little beast already moving closer again. ] Is this normal around here, or are we simply lucky enough to be forced to enjoy their company? Though really, the coincidence of this along with the problems facing the water supply-- my mistake, the absolute lack of one, I can’t help but think it’s not out of place to think one perhaps caused the other.
[ The pyjak darts closer all over again and Sark solidly kicks it away before finally continuing to walk. ] Or if something else has caused them both. Not that anyone would ever do such a thing. [ ... Such sarcasm. ]
Perhaps we should be stopping to consider what might happen next. There’s far more to worry about then simply smelling unpleasant or having one of these settle down to watch you eat your lunch. And if you think this won’t lead to something else, I imagine you aren’t looking hard enough.

What's that thing... Bad things always happen in threes? We're sitting around waiting for the other part to hit. I wouldn't doubt it. It's like watching smoke come up from a volcano and you don't know when it's going to erupt.
[positive attitude or not, haruto's honestly concerned about what might be happening behind the scenes.]
There's a district a ways from here that still has water, but it's pretty hit-or-miss, if you're interested.
It's a pyjak, apparently. Like a monkey, if only because it fails to be anything but an annoyance.
[ And if this one comes back he's going to step on it. He sighs. ] Do you know why it still happens to have water?
Oh, those little things? They keep trying to steal my stuff. I don't think I've ever met something that thrives so much on stealing.
I did some reconnaissance and found it. Not sure why it's working, but you're going to have to go quite a ways for it. I'm just waiting for that one to fail too.
[and, hey. since he's being so friendly...]
Do you think something big scared those pyjaks out? They aren't really freaking out, but animals always have a much better sense of danger than humans.
I think if something had scared them out of wherever they were before, they wouldn't be lingering about here. They might appreciate a location that favored safety over anything else.
Worth making a theory, since nothing's happened yet. Still sort of weird they came out of nowhere. I can't figure out where they came from.

As much as I dislike dealing with mercenaries, the Talons have offered to fix the problem. I will be assisting them with repairs. What of you?

Who should I call if I find any news that could hasten your search?]

And I would prefer you call for Sark.

I'll keep that in mind. Likewise, if you find him, keep a piece for Xiahou Dun.
