[The face that appears on the feed from the omni-tool is certainly alien, and distinctly female to those who actually know her race. But she certainly doesn’t look impressed in the slightest, of anything she looks mildly bored with the entire scenario.]
So, I’m not sure if everyone has lost their minds since I was last to Omega, but I’ve had about six humans ask me what I was. Now I know that all of you have only been acquainted with turians for thirty years, but if you’re going to be part of the galaxy you should figure out what a turian is, there’s only twenty billion of us in the galaxy.
So if anyone else has stupid questions to ask me, I’ll be in Afterlife having a drink and trying to enjoy the dancers.
[She’ll pause for a moment and think, before addressing the recording again.]
Also, can someone kindly explain why I’m on Omega when I should be on Illium? Never wanted to be on this rubble heap again, and it only looks like it’s become more degraded since my last charming visit.
[OOC: For those who are in and around Afterlife she'll be hanging out there either having a drink or out near the front having a smoke. Feel free to chat her up.]

Re: action
Pax will not even bother glancing at the human beside her. She could smell the fact that she had been drinking, perhaps heavily and wasn't overly in the mood to be dealing with drunken ladies. But she'll try not to make a nasty comment about how she bumped into her.]
If that's supposed to be a pickup line, keep trying.
no subject
But wow thank you for being not-so-nasty. The drink she had ordered is slid over to her and she holds the glass in her hand, leaning against the bar to face the turian with interest. The tone of this creature's voice confirms Isabela's suspicions.
Wow, it's a lady one.]
I'm not trying to pick you up, sweet thing. You'll know it when I am. I was just beginning to think your race was all male.
[Y'know, like how the blue ladies are all, well, women.]
Nice to see they do have the superior sex. How about sharing a drink?
no subject
Funny how humans see different sexes as being superior to the other, I thought they were equal.
I'd share a drink with you if you're buying.
no subject
[Sexism is alive and kicking in Thedas, your future ways are still foreign to her and there's also the fact that Isabela can be a bit of a man-hater.
She takes a swallows a mouthful of her brightly-coloured drink before continuing, laughing.]
I only buy drinks for women I'm trying to pick up.
no subject
[It's okay, Pax isn't overly fond of humans but she's finding Isabela entertaining at least.]
Fair enough, no point in wasting credits.
no subject
[She's not going to argue against that because she has a point, but honestly all races have their idiots. Humans, elves, dwarfs...the qunari.
Everyone's a bunch of idiots when it all boils down.]
Spending a credit or two on you might not be a waste, but as I said, I'm not trying to pick you up. I just find the races here awfully interesting.
[She's eyeing Pax's mandibles. How on earth would it work anyway?]
The name's Isabela.
no subject
[That's what she'll get for a name, not her entire name because it's long and stupid sounding so she'll go with that.]
I think Omega just draws more of them around, you just have to look harder to find the female turians here.
[Hey, Pax has kissed humans and asari before, it's a little complicated but she's made it work.]
You'll get your fill of new races then. Just stay away from the vorcha, they're nasty on the best of days.
no subject
And she was thinking about more
southern
regions.
BUT NEVER MIND THAT she simply raises her eyebrow at the mention of the Vorcha and she finishes her drink as quickly as she had received it.]
Are those the ugly beasties with those terrible grins? You know, I was half convinced they were some sort of talking darkspawn when I first ran into one.
no subject
Darkspawn would be a good name for them. Too many teeth, poor linguistic skills, and bad attitudes. I've never met a vorcha I could stand and I've killed more than my fair share the last time I was on this rock.
no subject
Darkspawn have no ability to talk, most of them, anyhoo. [CORYPHEUS.....] So to me the vorcha sound plenty more intelligent than those blighters, horrible grammar aside.
[The glass is shoved off to the side and she waves away an offer for another drink. She's pleasantly warm and drunk where her voice is a bit louder than it needs to be and her words are carried on longer than necessary, but there's no need to make herself sloppy]
They are an awful lot like rats, scurrying about the shadows from place to place. Though one of them had set up shop and tried to get me to play 'three shells and a pea'.
[A pause]
Though I think it used an eyeball, not a pea. Such classy creatures.
no subject
There's isn't much in the way of brains in them from what I've seen. I'd say watch them if they're trying to get you to play games of chance, they'll cheat you out of any credits you have.
[Pax will just sip at her drink, ignoring the look the turian bartender gave her to see if she wanted another drink.]
Probably an eyeball from the last unfortunate soul that lost their way in vorcha territory.
no subject
[She idly scratches at a scuff mark on the bar.]
And usually I'm the one to cheat men of their coin...er...credits. I'd hate for the competition to get the best of me.
