So after having pyjaks, varren, vorcha, pyjaks on fire, fire itself, and then water damage, I find myself in a bind.

[Pax gestures to the six screen mega-computer that she once had in working order, despite the fact that it now looks like a cobbled together singed mess that she's hauling apart for dry pieces.]

So, as it stands, if you have electronics that need repairs, upgrades, overhauls, from anything smaller than an air-car I can fix it up for you for a decent price. Yes, that includes omni-tools.

If you have technology that's not from this...universe, then I'll have a look at it but I make no promises I can repair it.

Not quite. The varren packs will need to be a bit larger before causing that kind of detour.

Just watch out for their bite, they've been known to bite through two inch thick steel plating to get at what they want to eat.

[She'll look at the pieces and hold out a motherboard for him to look at.]

[He takes a look, the machinery of his optics visibly adjusting behind the blue glow.]

The circuitry's fried.

Damn, well toss that one in the garbage bucket over there.

[She's just going to start picking through the parts she dumped on the table and checking them.]

So what have you been up to Prowl? No one's thrown you out an airlock yet, that's promising.

Gathering enough funds to purchase starship grade fuel.

[He picks up the board and does as she asks, sounding about as entertained with his fuel predicament as she was about humans.]

I've had to run on only essential systems in the meantime to conserve energy.

That stuff doesn't come cheap, how much of it are you trying to buy?

[She's interested, but really, she has no idea where to even begin on trying to buy barrels full of that stuff.]

I guess you can't eat food like the rest of us squishy organics.

Refueling doesn't need to happen as often as eating, fortunately. At least while running on essentials.

[An irritating tradeoff, but one that allows him to survive.]

The fuel tanks used for fighters and shuttles are the only things accessible in the near future.

Must be nice to be able to turn off unnecessary functions, can't say I can do that.

I don't think you'll find much better on Omega, you're lucky to find scrap here. Everything's beaten up here anyway, we're all having to make do and it's driving me insane.

From what I know of humans, it can probably be likened to ... sleeping. Reduced sensory and motor function to conserve energy. Just to much less of an extent.

[He's no xenobiologist, but it's the closest analogue he can find.]

In any case, scrap is all we'll have to work with for some time. I doubt there's a better alternative as a fuel source.

Well unless you can modify yourself to intake straight element zero I think you're out of luck. So, what to giant robotic organisms intake for energy anyway? Aren't you solar powered or something else advanced?

Energon. It's a unique substance that naturally occurred on our home planet.

[Which isn't really an option here, as far as he knows.]

Synthetic substitutes can be derived from local fuel sources, though they're not nearly as effective.

[He's going to give an intrigued look at the rest of the parts, to see if Pax had anything else he needed to inspect or move.]

Sounds interesting, so I guess it's like trying to eat nutrient paste.

[She's not going to elaborate but she'll point Prowl to the exceedingly large computer tower that needs to be pulled apart and looked at.]

I already cleaned a pyjak nest out of that once, I haven't opened the case yet because I'm scared of what I might find in there. For the record, if it moves or tries to jump at your face, kill it.
