[She's hiding in her room, surrounded by some scented candles she found on sale with her meager funds. There weren't any flowers to be had and it will probably instigate her idea of starting a flower shop on Omega.

It might be Naruto and she doesn't care what he thinks of her (not really) but she really doesn't want him to know she smells because she hasn't been able to bathe. Naruto might be okay with it but not her!]

Yeah! I'm changing! Don't come in here or I'll knock you out!

Ino squeals and even though she is fully dressed she throws one of those candles at Naruto.]

[Most powerful shinobi of their generation and he can't dodge that stupid candle because why the hell would he expect a candle attack from his roommate.]

[So he fumbles with it and now his shirt is on fire.]

[The pyjak is making space monkey squealing noises and Naruto is shrieking.]

[and he's flailing and slapping at his shirt.]

she gasps and forgets her hair is really greasy -- and she's smelly -- to vault over and help Naruto. first she has to make sure the rest of their house doesn't catch on fire so the candle is placed back where it belongs.]

sure, it was probably an exaggeration on Naruto's part (when is it not) since it was just a tiny little flame and only a tiny hole was burned into his shirt, but he still looks like it was almost the end for him.

and then Ino tries to throw him out, so he starts pointing at her.]

YOU TRIED TO KILL ME! AND NOW YOU'RE THROWIN' ME OUT?!

[why does he have to overreact? she did too, but at least she helped put the fire out

he could help by giving her a break!]

It's my room! I can throw you out if I want! I told you not to come in, in the first place!

[and once he is out of the room, she shuts the door in his face with a loud 'whoosh'

since...slamming doors is impossible at this place

once he's out, she leans against the door heavily and runs a hand through her bangs only to cringe at how it feels]

[yes, she successfully threw him out, but in the scuffle, the pyjak had left its nest on Naruto's head.]

[it's still in Ino's room, staring up at her and tilting its head like a confused puppy.]

[Naruto's fuming and staring at the door.]

You could at least gimme back Goku-chan, y'know!

[Ino stares right back down at it, blinking a few times. these were the little creeps that had been all over the station lately.]

Goku-chan?

[of course, Naruto brought one back like it was a pet. Idiot. she groans to herself. Naruto already made enough of a mess for two people! they didn't need another.

the two have a staring contest until the pyjak crawls over closer to Ino and

licks her unbathed foot]

GYAH! GROSS!

H-Hey, don't set him on fire or anything, y'know!

I won't if he'll stop licking me!

[She tries to shake him off but the pyjak just clings to her leg.]

Get off me!

Eh?

[he starts banging on the door.]

Goku-chan! Don't lick Ino! She stinks, y'know!

[you think he didn't notice? yeah, he noticed.]

It might make you sick or somethin'!

[where Naruto can't see her, Ino flushes angrily and turns her head to yell at the door]

Wha--?! So do you!

[Goku-chan has decided to start climbing up Ino's body and she tries pulling him off.]

Naruto! Help!

Now you want my help, eh? You threw me out!

[Goku-chan is climbing up farther and Ino closes her eyes and awaits the inevitable. She's not sure what's going to happen but she isn't going to like it.

Finally, Goku-chan arrives and perches on top of Ino's unwashed and greasy hair.]

[Since there's no more noise, Naruto has his ear right up to the door as he listens.

There's a long pause.

He finally whispers.]

Goku-chan? You... you didn't... kill Ino, did you?

[LMAONARUTO]

I wish he did.

[The door swishes open and Naruto gets a good view of Goku-chan happily nestling on top of Ino's head and her unimpressed expression.]

[at least Naruto looks ecstatic that both Ino and Goku-chan are still alive.]

Meanwhile, Ino gives him the flattest of stares]
