Quaint place, reminds me of a lot of places that wanted me dead. But, none of you really care about that or virtual tea parties of friendship making.

[But Marco if she's talking to you that means she can't accept a call from him. That means they're both going to use your communicator.]

[So he's just going to circle around the couch, rather casually, and reach over to pick him up by the shirt.]

[ there's a yelp as marco gets lifted off the couch. he flails at the omni-tool to shut it off, but instead switches it to video. the picture is swinging around wildly, but arcee should be able to get a glimpse here and there of what's going on. ]

[He sees that omni tool flailing around. Look, he ~~likes~~ tolerates Marco enough to not simply grab and hold his arm in place, but he would really appreciate it he got a little collaboration here.]

[ marco bounces into the seat cushions with a grunt, then begrudgingly holds up his onmi-tool in a more helpful position to prowl for the duration of their interaction. ]

[And this is getting ridiculous in a way, but she still doesn't exactly want to push to hard back. She learned how fragile humans can be at times.]

[He's still distrustful, but she is making sense. Slowly, he pulls back away from her, but he still keeping an eye on her every movement and ready to react at a moment's notice if she proves herself false.]

Actually, a tea party and friendship making sounds nice compared to everything else around here.

[And once she's certain he's not going to suddenly decide to attack again her own blade retracts. Metal folding and smoothing as it reforms into her arm and hides the blade within.]

[Because clearly acting like they weren't exchanging potentially lethal blows not more then a few moments ago is normal. She's impressed with your skills there organic.]

[She hides a small laugh behind her hand at first, and then a small nod.]

[He's secretly impressed by yours too, mechanical-iron creature thing. It's something different too, to see the blades retract themselves underneath metal plates so smoothly, almost like it is natural for blades to slide back underneath skin. It creeps him a little, but he hides it with a "hmph" and walks back to where he dropped his rations before he charged at Arcee. After he secures them, he turns back to her and asks:]

Well, how much do you know then? Has anyone briefed you on the situation?

The basic can't leave, Aria rules all, I'm likely to get shot in the back just as easily as getting shot in the face depending on who doesn't like me. Cheery welcome, makes me almost feel like I never left home at times.

[Can you hear the heavy, heavy sarcasm in that voice there Dun? Because there is a lot of it.]

[If she was actually broadcasting the look would likely cause a lot of sympathy. Instead just a very carefully blanked voice. Because showing emotions is healthy and she doesn't do healthy much.]

He was my partner, and I was suppose to watch out for him.

[The voice does confuse her since it had been a bit more pleasant and nice before.

A partner? A teammate? Ino knows that feeling intimately. She had promised to take care of her own teammates and here she was, stuck on a rock and nowhere near enough to protect them.

She'll sigh loudly, but sound empathetic.]

It's frustrating, isn't it?

[It's hard to keep a flat tone talking about this, but she at least manages to not have it too fluctuating or filled with static due to memories and worry.]

Especially when they have a bad habit of getting into trouble you have to get them out of.

[She smiles a little now, almost reassuring.]

But I'm sure they'll all be okay without us. We just have to believe in them a little that they can make it without us while we're here.

[Oh he can hear it all. He doesn't much like sarcasm but Omega tends to make cynics of them all.]

[His brow wrinkles with distaste; the mere thought of paying something that comes off as blackmail leaves a bad taste in his mouth but there's not much he can do in the situation, not yet anyway. His aching ribs are a reminder that in Omega he can't just do as he please.]

Find someone to lodge with, preferably someone you can tolerate. The basic wages are a pittance and you won't have enough to make ends meet if you try to make it on your own just yet.

...Yeah, they're resourceful and can use their heads from time to time. Still won't stop the worry.

[He takes a good look at the image, assessing it's content with narrowed optics.]
